Meet the Founder

Melissa German is a Chartered Accountant, Registered Tax Agent and Fellow of The Tax Institute, bringing over 13 years of experience to the profession she is deeply passionate about.

Bright Future Accounting was established in 2023 by Melissa German.

With over 13 years of experience in the accounting industry, Melissa worked her way through the ranks while completing her Bachelor of Business (Major in Accounting) and attaining her qualifications as a Chartered Accountant and Registered Tax Agent.

Throughout her career, she built a strong foundation in business services and taxation, advising a broad portfolio of clients - from ambitious small businesses to established Australian groups. While this experience strengthened her technical expertise, it also revealed a gap in the traditional model of accounting.

Too often, clients were meeting compliance obligations without truly understanding their numbers or feeling confident in their financial position.

Melissa founded Bright Future Accounting to change that.

Her vision was to create a modern, education-first firm that delivers more than just tax compliance and business advisory services. She is passionate about empowering individuals and business owners through financial literacy, helping them gain clarity, confidence and control over their financial future.

Melissa is committed to excellence in everything she does. A Third-Degree Black Belt in Shotokan Karate and a Black Belt in Goju Ryu Karate, she brings discipline, focus and integrity into both her professional and personal pursuits.
